Winning in retirement, at least financially, is a matter of priorities. Some folks want to double their money, regardless of the risk. They think “TALL” with their money. Others want to leave more for heirs. They also think “TALL” with their money.  But a new type of retiree has emerged in recent years. They don’t seek untold wealth or making their kids rich, as much as they seek true  financial independence for the rest of their lives. They want their “in-COME”  to exceed their  “out-GO” for as long as they live. That makes retiring on today's bonds an impossibility. With ten year treasury's yielding less than one percent, a new type of safe retirement asset  paying significantly more income is needed. As a result of  advanced annuity engineering the past five years , a  NEXT GENERATION retirement annuity has emerged paying higher income with a high degree of safety. In addition-- it may benefit from market increases with no market losses and no cap. We'll explain in detail and then Medicare expert Shelley Grandidge joins us.  A fact filled show you don't want to miss...MASTERING MONEY is on the air!!!

What if you had a magic calculator that could tell you just when to get into the market and when to get out? That would certainly be a popular gift item, but there is one problem. No such thing exists! That doesn't stop MILLIONS of people with money in the stock market from trying to time the market. In fact, if you missed only the TEN best days of the market over the past ten YEARS, your return would have been cut in HALF. If you missed the twenty best days, your return would be negative!! Find out how to build a REAL strategy with your investments today in a fact filled Market Intel Segment. Don't miss it, MASTERING MONEY is on the air!!

The lithium-ion battery has played an integral role in powering the modern-day world – but questions remain about its environmental impact.  The rechargeable batteries, which are used in everything from mobile phones to electric cars,  are in constant daily use globally to power the portable electronics we use to communicate, work, study, listen to music and search for knowledge.  Oil companies have been castigated for disruption of wildlife and the eco system. But the mushrooming need for lithium and cobalt to keep making bigger and bigger batteries is touching off a lithium war, and in the process, actually may be polluting parts of the earth far more than fossil fuels. Prepare to be shocked by today's special report on the dirty, filthy, battery industry. As we get reminded often, women have a better chance of making it to age 100 than men — in fact, 82% of the 53,364 centenarians alive in 2010 were female. The ratio of females to males @ age 100 remains pretty steady. It’s why you hear the statistic that eighty percent of men die married, while eighty percent of WOMEN... die single.  The big problem for women is that they may spend ten years or longer on their own after their husbands pass--at a time when they may not want to be fussing over investments.  It’s been found that Baby Boomers’ number one financial fear is running out of money while still in their eighties and then living into their nineties dead broke while the government robs Social Security. We'll see if that fear is justified today, and then health insurance expert SHELLEY GRANDIDGE joins us.   A timely show you don't want to miss, MASTERING MONEY is on the air!!
