The "You-Make-a-Lot-of-Money Tax" is hitting more Americans, reports the Wall Street Journal.   The "net investment income tax" (NIIT)  is coming due for millions more taxpayers than a decade ago. It’s no accident says the Journal.   Many Americans will owe it this year, thanks to inflation,  higher home prices,  and higher yields on bank accounts and bonds.  We'll review the report in detail and then reveal ways to avoid or reduce the tax.
