The Wall Street Journal reports  that online retailing is driving business away from shopping malls at a very fast pace. Greenstreet Advisors analyzes that Sears Holdings Corp  would need to close  up to 43% of its stores to regain the sales per square foot they had in 2006, adjusted for inflation. Penney, Macy's and other retailers will also need to be closing a large number of stores.
