Have you noticed that soon after a new prescription drug comes out, there are lawyer ads promoting law suits for those harmed by it.  It turns out that people can respond to prescription drugs very differently depending on their genes..  A medication that brings relief for some patients might show no benefit at all in others, or even cause harmful side effects that lead to other complications.. Its leading more and more doctors to recommend gene testing before prescribing all forms of drugs, but will insurance pay for it?
