With the Federal Reserve signaling low interest rates for the foreseeable future, as in YEARS FORWARD,  the Wall Street Journal reports that many pension funds are weighing bigger bets on stocks of late. Since the 2008 crash, many pension funds have steered clear of the equities market, but the lowest interest rates on bonds in the nation’s 200 year history are increasingly forcing them to look more to Wall Street.  This rotation to stocks could provide serious demand pressure to the upside for stocks, with a potential focus on dividend and technology stocks. There are also other new groups of investors interested in stock market ownership--known as Robin Hood investors-- driving another wave of demand.  Investors are realizing that a Trump win means a higher market and a Blue Wave could bring a huge selloff.
